GreenSummitXpo 2010 RESCHEUDLED FOR 2011
The 2010 GreenSummitXpo has been postponed to a future date. The Board
and Organizing Committee recognize the value of hosting an important Summit to
communicate opportunities within the renewable energy and energy efficiency
industries. Delays in the approval of the United States Climate Bill and other
governmental issues had a direct impact on economic development and job
creation, which rendered the Summit’s Career Fair pointless. Without economic
incentives it is difficult for the industry cannot offer employment or business
opportunities.
Organized by Brightside Global
Trade Journal, the GreenSummitXpo was created to bring together government,
citizens, private business leaders, and non-profit organizations in order to
foster collaboration toward promoting green strategies, as well as generate
employment and business opportunities.
GreenSummitXpo Chairperson
Clare Misquitta extended her apologies for any inconveniences caused by the
postponement. “A number of possibilities are being considered for the future of
the Summit including the introduction of a Virtual Event. We encourage
interested parties to check for updates on www.greensummitxpo.com and to send us
their comments.”
All 2010 GREENS Awards
will continue to be evaluated and featured in the fall 2010 issue of Brightside
Global Trade Journal. Awards will be honored and presented at the 2010-2011
awards ceremony at the Summit’s rescheduled date in April 2011. Tickets and
sponsorships will also be honored then.
